Death Of Betty Fleming, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Friday 3rd October 2025, of Mrs Elizabeth (Betty) Fleming (née Spillane), No.7 Derrynaflan Road, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Fleming, sadly, passed away unexpectedly at her place of ordinary residence.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Seamus, daughter Ann Marie and son Brian, son-in-law Seán, Brian’s partner Fiona, grandchildren James, Eoin, Ben, Rían and Seán, sister Bridie, brother Jimmy, brothers-in-law Johnny and David, sisters-in-law Mary and Ann, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Fleming will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles on tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday October 7th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Church of Our Lady and St Kevin, Littleton, Thurles, on Wednesday morning, October 8th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of Eileen Concagh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 5th October 2025, of Mrs Eileen Concagh (née Cronin), Knockroe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Gortadrishligh, Lixnaw, Co. Kerry.

Pre-deceased by her husband Jimmy, sister Hannah (Concagh) and brother Michael; Mrs Concagh passed away peacefully, following a long illness most bravely borne, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sons Kenneth and Seamus, daughters Fionnuala (Hayes) and Aisling (O’Dwyer), grandchildren Niaobh, Daniel, Aaron, Ailís, Kate, Anna, Aaron, Emma, Aoibhe, Grace and Eimear, daughters-in-law Connie and Áine, sons-in-law Jim and John, brothers Denis, sister Bridie (O’Rourke), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, great neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Her remains will be received into the Church of St Peter, Moycarkey, Thurles on Thursday morning October 9th at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in nearby St Peter’s Cemetery, Moycarkey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of John Spillane, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Saturday 4th October 2025, of Mr John Spillane, Galbertstown Lower, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and late of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Hannah, sisters Maragaret, Joan and Meryl (Mary), brothers-in-law Edward (Neddie) and Jerry; Mr Spillane passed away peacefully at his place of ordinary residence, following a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving and devoted wife Mary (née Flanagan), children Teresa, Patrick, Catherine, Thomas, Hannah, Caroline, John, Colette, Oliver and Aidan, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and partners, sisters Nora (Dwan) and Kitty, brother-in-law Liam (Dwan), nephews, nieces, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 3rd October 2025, of Mrs Mary (May) Phelan (née Quinn), Bellevue, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In her 101st year and pre-deceased by her husband Martin; Mrs Phelan passed away peacefully while in the care of staff of South Tipperary General Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving sons Larry, Edmond and Jim, daughters Eily, Kathleen and Carmel, daughters-in-law Ann and Rena sons-in-law Gerry and Darragh grand-children, great-grand-children, nieces, nephews, sister, brothers, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Requiem Mass for Mrs Phelan will be offered on Monday morning, October 6th, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Michael’s Cemetery, Killaghy, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Richard and Mary and his son Vincent; the passing of Mr Costello is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Margaret, daughters Janice and Mamie, grandchildren, son-in-law Mark, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
