It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Saturday 17th December 2022, of Mrs Alice (Allie) Hyland (née Gahan), Kickham Place, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Hyland; in her 92nd year, passed away while in the care of staff at Trinity Care, Drakelands House Nursing Home, Drakelands, Co. Kilkenny.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Hyland will repose on Sunday evening, December 18th, at Brett’s Funeral Home, No.6 Kickham Street, Mullinahone, Thurles, from 7:00pm until 8:00pm.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St. Michael, Mullinahone, Thurles, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Monday morning, December 19th, at 11:00am; followed by interment immediately afterwards in Isertkieran Cemetery, Ballinacloughy, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 16th December 2022, of Mrs Alice Cooney (née Morris), McDonagh Terrace, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband John and infant son Paul; Mrs Cooney passed away peacefully, while under the care of staff at Our Lady and St Patrick’s Hospital, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her devoted daughter Martina, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, good neighbours and great friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Cooney will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Sunday evening, December 18th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of Our Lady and St. Kevin, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary at 7.45pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning, December 19th, at 11:30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Thursday 15th December 2022, of Mr James (Jim) O’Dwyer, Semple Villas, Boherernanave, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Knockeravoola, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his loving parents John and Mary and his brother John-Joe; Mr O’Dwyer passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny City, Co. Kilkenny.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving family; sisters Marian (Walsh), Eileen (O’Sullivan) and Rita (O’Neill), brothers Stephen and Vincent, Vincent’s partner Sheila, brothers-in-law John Joe, Morgan and Jimmy, nieces, nephews, grand nephews, aunt-in-law, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning, November 17th, at 11:30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the nearby local cemetery.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Thursday 15th December 2022, of Mrs Noreen Troy (née Kenneally), St. Brigid’s, Loughnafulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Killea, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her devoted husband Joe, sister Lana and brother Seamus; Mrs Troy passed away peacefully in her 95th year, while in the care of staff at Fennor Hill Care Facility, Urlingford.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family; daughter Margaret, grandchildren Aisling and Jack, sisters-in-law Mary (Chicago), Chrissie (Kylemakill) and Vera (Dublin), nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co Tipperary.
