Death Of Gerry Healy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 7th December 2025, of Mr Gerry Healy, No 2 Rivercourt, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Foyle, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Paddy and Mary, his brothers Phil and Patrick and his sisters Cathy, Mary, Anne and Bridget; Mr Healy passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at University Hospital Clonmel, South Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving partner Breda, sister Bernie, brothers Bob, John and Albert, brother-in-law George, sisters-in-law Val and Mary, nieces, nephews, Breda’s children Sean and Cliona, extended relatives, neighbours and friends

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Healy will repose at Dermot Ronan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Ballingarry, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CK88), on tomorrow afternoon Tuesday December 9th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His funeral cortège will leave from his home on Wednesday morning, December 10th, to be received into the Church Of The Assumption, Ballingarry, Thurles to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed, immediately afterwards, by a Service of Cremation in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare, (Eircode V14 PV30), at 3:00pm.

Death Of Jim Collins, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 8th December 2025, of Mr Jim Collins, Dromore, Cabra, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In his 92nd year and pre-deceased by his wife Mary (née Higgins), brother John and sister Mary (Shanahan), Mr Collins passed away peacefully following a short illness, while in the care of staff at Padre Pio, Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; nieces Nuala (O’Donovan, Kilteely, Co Limerick) and Ann (McCann, Stillorgan, Dublin), nephews Tommy, Jimmy and Johnny (Thurles) and the Shanahan family (London).

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Collins will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CP59), on Wednesday afternoon, December 10th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St Joseph and St Brigid, Bothar-na-Naomh, Thurles at 7:45pm same evening.
Requiem Mass will be offered for Mr Collins on Thursday morning, December 11th, at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Lognafulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Joan Dunne, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 8th December 2025, of Mrs Joan Dunne, (née Walsh), No. 27 Greenview, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Tommy and Johanna, and brother Jim; Mrs Dunne passed away while in the care of staff at Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Eamonn, son Michael, daughters Samantha and Caroline, grandchildren Adrian, Michael and Alfie, son-in-law Vasile, Michael’s partner Nicole, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Her remains will be received into the Church of St Patrick, Ballyragget, Kilkenny, (Eircode R95 XD54), on Wednesday morning, December 10th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, at St Finnan’s Cemetery, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 5th December 2025, of Mr Tommie Griffin, Clongour, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Peg, brother Jackie, sisters Marilyn and Rhona (Danaher) and nephew Jack; Mr Griffin passed away peacefully following a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; adoring wife Mai (née Griffin), daughters Anne and Marilyn, son John, grandchildren Bill, Katie, John, David and Anne, great-grand-daughter Lily, son-in-law Gerry, daughter-in-law Jeannette, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Mary; Mr Kinane passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
