It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 9th January 2026, of Mrs Bridie Fennessy (née Garrett) Corbally, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary.
In her 92nd year and pre-deceased by her husband Jim, parents Tommy and Biddy (née Shanahan), her brothers John, Tommy, Stephen, Jimmy and Andrew, sisters Judy and Marion; Mrs Fennessy passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, following an illness most bravely borne, and while in the care of staff at Woodlands Nursing Home, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving son Seamus, daughter-in-law Maura (née Ralph), brothers Michael, Christy and Oliver, cherished grandchildren Stephen, Phelim and Caoimhe, their partners Caoimhe, Ilaria and Peter, cousins (especially Marion Shanahan), nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Fennessy will repose at Hayes Funeral Chapel, Clonoulty, (Eircode E21 CY91) on Sunday afternoon, January 11th, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm same evening. Her remains will be received into the nearby Church of St John the Baptist, Clonoulty on Monday morning, January 12th, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Clonoulty Old Cemetery, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 8th January 2026, of Mrs Shelia (Julia) Ryan (C) (née Ryan), St John’s Villa, Clonoulty, Cashel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Turraheen, Rossmore, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Thady (Timothy), parents Josie and Patrick, infant son Peter, daughter Josie, sister Peggy, brother Jimmy and grandchild Sinead; Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at Slievenamon unit, Tipperary University Hospital Clonmel, South Tipperary and Woodlands Nursing, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Mary and Julie, sons Mick, Pat, Eoin (Eugene) and Conor, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother Timothy, sisters-in-law Mary and Josephine, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 7th January 2026, of Mr William Lane, (late of C.I.E.), Crecora, Co. Limerick and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his sister Bridget; Mr Lane passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at University Hospital, Limerick City, Co. Limerick, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Bridget (nee Hayes), sister Ena, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Monday 5th January 2026 of Mr Michael (Mick) Kennedy, Dalkey, Co. Dublin and formerly of Templemore, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Kennedy passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at St Columcille’s Hospital, Loughlinstown, Co. Dublin.
Pre-deceased by his sisters Mary, Kitty and Nancy; his passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Maura (of 65 years), son Johnny, daughters Frances, Trish and Kate, sons-in-law Paul, Ger and Ian, daughter-in-law Pilar, grandchildren Sam, Emily, Julie, Fiona, Sean and Harry, brother Denis, sister Peggy, sister-in-law JoJo, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 6th January 2026, of Mr Henry Cummins, Rathcradogue, Rahealty, Thurles, Co Tipperary.
In his 97th year, Mr Cummins passed away peacefully, while in the presence of his loving family, in the care of staff at the Coronary Care Unit of Cork University Hospital, following a brief illness.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family, many friends and wonderful neighbours and all who will mourn his passing.

His remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Friday morning, January 9th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by a private service of cremation, at the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
