It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Monday 22nd September 2025, of Mr Robert (Robbie) Lanphier Curraheen, Horse and Jockey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Louie and Peggy (née Lawn), uncles Tony and Joseph, aunt Kathleen (Forrestal); sadly, Mr Lanphier passed away unexpectedly at his place of ordinary residence.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; sisters Cathy (Trevor), Bridget (Fogarty), Eileen (Mahon) and Liz (O’Dwyer), brothers John and Larry, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law Michael, Noel and Donnacha, sisters-in-law Helen and Catherine, cousins, aunts Bridget (Murray), Eileen (Rizvi) and Marie (Byrne), uncles Bobby (UK), John (Curraheen, Horse and Jockey) and P.J. (Turtulla, Thurles), extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Lanphier will be received into the Church of St Peter, Moycarkey, Thurles, on Friday morning, September 26th, at 11:00am, to repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by a Service of Cremation at Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare, (Eircode V14 PV30) at 4:00pm.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 21st September 2025, of Mr Martin (Monty) Power, Gaile, Thurles, Co. Tipperary,
The tragic death of Mr Power is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; heartbroken wife Kathleen, daughters Linda, Helena, son Martin, son-in-law Declan and Martin’s partner Tina, cherished grandchildren Dean, Kirstin, Dylan, Ronan and Lucas, brother Seamus and his wife Marie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours, many friends, work colleagues at Lyons Tyres and Battery, his many motorbike buddies, along with his faithful friend Holly.

The earthly remains of Mr Power will repose at his place of ordinary residence (Eircode E41 HY91) on Wednesday afternoon, September 24th, from 4:00pm until to 7:00pm same evening. The funeral cortège bearing the earthly remains of Mr Power will be received into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Nodstown, Boherlahan, Co. Tipperary, on Thurday morning, September 25th at 11:00am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in Ardmayle Cemetery, Ardmayle Beg, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday 20th September 2025, of Mr Michael O’Grady, Túr Uisce, Doughiska, Galway City, Co. Galway and formerly of Clongour, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Sadly, Mr O’Grady passed away unexpectedly at the Beacon Hospital, Sandyford, Co. Dublin.
Pre-deceased by his parents Gerard (Gerry) and Moira, his brother Peter and more recently by his brother-in-law Richie Cotter; his passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife and best friend Teresa, brothers John, Anthony, Gerry, Joseph and Eddie, sisters Mary, Anne and Marette, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncle Phil and aunt Ena, goddaughter Elayne and her daughters Nicole and Hazel, cousins, extended family, work colleagues, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Saturday 20th September 2025, of Mr John McGinn, Teach Toibín, Cathaganstown, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan.
In his 88th year and pre-deceased by his beloved wife Mary (nee Carroll), baby son Seán, brothers and sisters; Mr McGinn passed away peacefully at his place of ordinary residence, surrounded by loved ones.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving sons Pádhraic, Donnchadh, Macdarragh and daughter Coríosa, cherished grandchildren Aisling, Saoirse, Aideen, Caoimhe, Seán, Ruadhán, Ruaraidh, Luke and Marcus, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday last 13th September 2025, of Mr Michael Irving, Ballycamas, Clonoulty, Tipperary and formerly of Penrith, Cumbria, England. Mr Irving sadly passed away unexpectedly, while in the care of staff at The Beacon Hospital, Dublin.
Pre-deceased by his parents Colin and Patricia, brother Stephen and mother-in-law Kathleen O’Dwyer (Ballycamas); his passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving husband Mike (M.J.) O’Dwyer, sister Mandy Daly, niece Emma, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The remains of Mr Irving will repose at Devitt’s Funeral Home, The Green, Cashel, Co. Tipperary, on Monday evening next, September 22nd, from 6:00pm, with a Service of Remembrance at 7:30pm. All are welcome to attend. Cremation will takes place on Tuesday, September 23rd, in The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork at 12:00 noon.
