It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 7th June 2026, of Mr Maurice (Mossie) Hayes, Ballyduff, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Alice and Ned, Mr Hayes sadly passed away, while in the care of staff at Bród House, Co. Kilkenny.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving brother Eamonn and sister Oonagh, sister-in-law Bee (Maher), brother-in-law Ger (Holliday), niece Elaine, nephews Edmund and Cathal, cousins, extended relatives, friends and carers from the Aurora Community.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Hayes will repose at his home in Ballyduff, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CF62) on tomorrow afternoon Tuesday June 9th from 4:30pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 8:00pm, same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mr Hayes will be offered on Wednesday morning, June 10th at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Lognafulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, Friday 5th June 2026, of Mrs Bridget Moriarty (née Moriarty), Urard, Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by husbands Timmy Dalton and Paddy Moriarty, her son Tim, brothers, sisters and son-in-law Pat; Mrs Moriarty passed away peacefully at her place of ordinary residence, while in the presence of her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Marie and Teresa, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, brothers Eddie and Thomas, sister Joan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Moriarty will repose at Doyle’s Funeral Home, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny (Eircode E41 XO38), on tomorrow afternoon, Monday June 8th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Gortnahoe, Thurles, on Tuesday morning, June 9th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in Fennor Cemetery, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, on Wednesday 3rd June 2026, of Mrs Mary Horan (née Butler), Kilkennybeg, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband Denis, parents, brothers and sister; Mrs Horan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at the Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick, Co. Kilkenny.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughter Angela, sons Jim, Andy and Donie, daughter-in-law Siobhan, grandchildren Louise, John, Laura, Liam, Conor, Dearbhla, sister Monica, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Her funeral cortège will leave from the residence, of her son before being received into the Church of St Mary, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles, on Saturday morning, June 6th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Crosscannon Cemetery, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 2nd June 2026, of Mrs Catherine Ena Maher (née Lane), Abbey Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In her 93rd year and predeceased by her husband Philip, brother Liam and sister Bridget; Mrs Maher passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Ardeen Nursing Home, Abbey Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving sons Gerard and Fergus, daughter Anne, grandchildren Joanne, Daniel, Caithlin and Orlaith, great-grandchildren Jade, Kaden, Grace and Saffy, daughters-in-law Catherine and Deirdre, son-in-law Joe, nephews, nieces (especially Annita), Don and Aidan, sister-in-law Bridget, extended relatives, the Ardeen Nursing Home community, neighbours and friends.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, today Tuesday 2nd June 2026 of Mrs Brid Conway (née Ely), Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Barronstown, Loughmore, Co. Tipperary and Ballycroy, Co. Mayo.

Pre-deceased by her parents Seamus and Stacia, Mrs Conway passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Michael, adored family, daughters Michelle and Ashling, sons Kevin and Mark, Ashling’s partner Robbie, her twin sister Marion (Hennessy, Mallow), sister Geraldine (Egan, Loughmore) and brother Jim (Ballagh, Co. Tipperary), sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
