Death Of Kathleen Ryan-Rue, Rossmore, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Saturday 2nd March 2024, of Mrs Kathleen Ryan-Rue (née O’Dwyer), Glenough, Rossmore, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by her loving husband Christy; Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully while in the care of Staff at the Woodlands Nursing Home, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughter Kathleen, sons Roger and Christy, grandchildren Saoirse, Conor, Kaitlyn, Aéla, Fódhla and Coisla, son-in-law Seamus, daughters-in-law Liz and Eadaoin, sisters, brother, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of close friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at Hayes’ Funeral Home, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary (E25 TX26) on tomorrow afternoon, Sunday March 3rd, from 5:00pm with removal at 7:00pm same evening, to the Church of Jesus Christ our Saviour, Rossmore, Co. Tipperary.
Requiem Mass for Mrs Ryan will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11:30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of Ailish O’Connor, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 29th February 2024, of Mrs Elizabeth (Ailish) O’Connor (née Kennedy), Clontarf, Dublin and formerly of Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Gerard and brothers Sean and PJ; Mrs O’Connor, while in her 90th year, passed away peacefully at her place of residence, surrounded by her beloved family, supported by staff at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, Dublin.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her son Colin, daughters Anne, Caroline and Maeve, her son-in-law Bernardo, daughter-in-law Colette, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs O’Connor will repose at the family home, Clontarf, on Sunday afternoon, March 3rd, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St Gabriel, (Dollymount), No.3, St Gabriel’s Road, Clontarf, Dublin 3 on Monday morning, March 4th, to to further repose for Funeral Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment in Dardistown Cemetery, Collinstown Cross, Old Airport Rd, Dardistown, Dublin, [K67 HP26]

Death Of Vera Hazel, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 27th February 2024, of Mrs Vera Hazel (née McCormack), Booterstown, Co. Dublin and late of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband Finbar and brother John; Mrs Hazel passed away peacefully at the Hermitage Clinic, Old Lucan Road, D20 W722 Co. Dublin.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her children; Audrey, Barry, Michael and Clodagh, brother Vincent and sisters-in-law Joan and Monica, step-brothers Richard and John, daughters-in-law Suzy and Dervla, Michelle and her sons-in-law Daniel and Alan, grandchildren Isobel, Pearce, Vincent, Evelyn, Christian, Siona, Fionn and Adaline, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a close circle of friends.

Death Of Nora Quirke, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 24th February 2024 of Mrs Nora Quirke (née Kennedy), Matthew Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Bredagh, Toomevara, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Séan, her son-in-law Eugene (O’Brien), sisters Bab, Bridie and Kathleen, brothers Jack, Dan and Frank; Mrs Quirke passed away peacefully.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughters Catherine (O’Brien) and Marie (O’Gorman), her son-in-law Séamus, her cherished grandchildren Joseph, Róisín, Eugene and Norma (O’Brien), Éabha and Breana (O’Gorman), Roísín’s partner Tadhg, her brother-in-law Paddy (Quirke Littleton), nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Wednesday morning at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment in St Patrick’s Graveyard, Churchquarter, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Jackie Maher, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 24th February 2024, of Mr John (Jackie) Maher, Mill Road, Ballynonty, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by his parents Richard and Mary; the passing of Mr Maher is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends (in particular his good friend Martin Lawlor).

His remains will be received into the Church of St Patrick and St Oliver, Glengoole, Thurles on Tuesday morning, February 27th, at 11:15am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
