It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 21st January 2026 of Mrs Kathleen Hennessy (née Delahunty), Late of Findlater Bar, 80 Upper Dorset St., Dublin; Galmoy, Co. Kilkenny and Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co.Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Seán and parents Joe and Elizabeth; Mrs Hennessy passed away peacefully while in her daughter’s home in Ballintaggart, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving sons Joe and Shay, daughter Tríona (Hayes), sisters Eilis (Walsh), Moira (Corcoran), and brothers Séamus and Eamon, son-in-law Thomas, Shay’s partner Ann, grandchildren Clodagh, Conor and Brian (Hayes), Shauna (Hennessy), sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Hennessy will repose at Ronan’s Funeral Home, Ballingarry (SR), Thurles, Co. Tipperary, (Eircode E41 CK88), this evening Thursday, January 22nd, from 5:00pm with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry, Thurles (Eircode E41 X523). Funeral Mass for Mrs Hennessy will be offered on Friday morning January 23rd, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Lachtain’s Cemetery, Freshford, Co. Kilkenny.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 20th January 2026, of Mrs Eileen O’Dwyer (née Purcell), Fishmoyne, Drom, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Loughmore, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs O’Dwyer passed away peacefully, following a short illness most bravely bourne.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving sons Patrick and Denis, daughter-in-law Caitriona, partner Joe Ryan, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Pre-deceased by his son Nicky, father Nick and brother Fr Jimmy; Mr Irwin passed away peacefully, following a short illness, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Sunday 18th January 2026, of Baby Caelan Bannon, Cassestown, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Baby Caelan, was born on 18th January and following some precious moments in Mammy and Daddy’s arms, sadly he passed away peacefully.
The passing of Baby Caelan is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and is lovingly remembered by his sorrowing and heartbroken parents Liam and Linda, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Mass of the Angels for baby Caelan will be celebrated in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street Thurles, (Eircode E41 A528), on Thursday morning, January 22nd, at 11:00am, followed afterwards by a private family burial.
