Death Of John Lahert, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 12th October 2025 of Mr John Lahert, Clashduff, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Bridie; Mr Lahert passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. .

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Margaret (Peg), daughter Ann-Marie and son-in-law Patrick Raleigh, sisters-in-law Mary Gaine, Eileen Frewen and Nancy O’Mullane, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Lahert will repose at Dermot Ronan’s Funeral Home, Ballingarry, Thurles on Wednesday afternoon, October 15th, from 5:00pm until 7:30pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry (SR), Thurles, on Thursday morning, October 16th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of Mrs Mairéad Uí Chléirigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 13th October 2025 of Mrs Mairéad (Dolly) Uí Chléirigh (née Cunnane), Turtulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Kilnadeema, Loughrea, Co. Galway.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Muiris, her parents Vincent and Kate, sisters Nóra, Mary, Kathleen, Philomena and Bernadette, brothers Paddy, Frank, Danny, Bunny and Kieran; Mrs Uí Chléirigh passed away peacefully following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving sons Muiris and Dónall, daughters Cáit and Bríd, grandchildren Conor, Brendan, Sorcha, Meadhbh, Ronin and River, daughters-in-law Diana and Virginia, sons-in-law Oliver and Larry, sisters-in-law Máirín and Treasa, extended relatives, former teaching colleagues, great neighbours and many friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Uí Chléirigh will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CP59) on Wednesday afternoon, October 15th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Thursday morning, October 16th, at 10:30am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Liam Dwan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 13th October 2025 of Mr Liam Dwan, Glenbane, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary

Pre-deceased by his parents Rody and Bridget, brother Rodgie and his wife Eileen, sister Mai and her husband Francis; Mr Dwan, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, while in the care of staff at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny City, Co. Kilkenny.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Norah (née Spillane), sons Paddy, Stephen, Billy, David and Frankie, daughters Breda, Siobhan, Anne and Marie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 11th October 2025, of Mr Patrick Mullally, Green Street, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Lismolin, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Thomas and Kitty, brothers Gerard, PJ and Tomás (latter recently), sisters-in-law Kitty Mullally (née Cleary) and Philomena Mullally (née McGovern); Mr Mullally passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Altamount House, Dublin Road, Kilkenny City, Co. Kilkenny.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving brothers Bobby, Michael and John Joe, sister-in-law Anne, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 11th October 2025, of Mr John (Jack) Costello, Currabaha, Templederry, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Jeremiah and Winnie, brothers Tom and Ned, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Mr Costello, sadly, passed away while in the care of staff at Nenagh Manor Nursing Home.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Chriss, daughters Winnie and Breda, granddaughters, Laoise and Éabha, son-in-law Pat, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandniece, extended relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Requiem Mass for Mr Costello will be offered on Tuesday morning, October 14th, at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Upper Main Street, Mountgeorge, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
