Death Of Anne O’Dwyer, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Wednesday 20th March 2024 of Mrs Anne O’Dwyer (née Quinlan), Glenree, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Glastrigan, Templederry, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Ned; Mrs O’Dwyer passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughter Joanne (Dillon), son in law Martin, grandchildren Ned, Murt and Elisha, sisters Bridget and Kathleen, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs O’Dwyer will repose at O’Dwyer’s Funeral Home, Cappanaleigh, Upperchurch, Thurles, on tomorrow evening, Thursday March 21st, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
Her remains will be received into into the former Cistercian Monastery Abbey at Holycross, Thurles, on Friday morning, March 22nd, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of Fr. John Coen, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 19th March 2024 of Fr. John Coen, Pallottine College, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, and late of Beagh, Kilconly, Tuam, Co. Galway.

Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Delia and his sister Mary; the passing of Fr. John, is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sisters Bridie (Taylor), Evelyn (Walsh), brothers Padraic, Fr. Michael and Andy, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, the Pallottine Community, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Fr. John will repose at the Pallottine College, Kickham Street, Thurles on Friday afternoon next, March 22nd, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm, before being received into the College Chapel at 5:00pm.
Requiem Mass for Fr. John will be celebrated on Saturday next, March 23rd at 12:00 noon, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the Pallottine Cemetery, Cabra, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Andrew Kevin Farrelly, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Tuesday 19th March 2024, of Mr Andrew Kevin Farrelly, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of No. 3 Shannagh Grove, Mohill, Co. Leitrim.

Pre-deceased by his loving wife May and son John; Mr Farrelly passed away peacefully at his daughter’s residence.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family, son Alan, daughters Mary, Pauline, Carmel and Geraldine, sons-in-law Liam and Aidan, daughters-in-law Catherine and Ide, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Farrelly will repose at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford, Co Longford (N39 EC81), on Wednesday afternoon, March 20th, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm, before being received into the Church of St. Patrick, Mohill, Co Leitrim, at 7:00pm on same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mr Farrelly will be celebrated on Thursday, March 21st, at 12 noon, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Annaduff, Co. Leitrim.

Death Of Michael Hickey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Monday 18th March 2024 of Mr Michael Hickey, Ard Mhuire, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Larry and Nellie; Mr Hickey passed away unexpectedly at at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken family; his devoted wife Phyllis (née Ryan), his daughters Michelle and Sharon, son Leon, adored grandchildren Molly, Darragh, Art and Oscar, sons-in-law Hugh and Stephen, daughter-in-law Sally, brothers Sean, Larry, Tony, Danny and Eugene, sisters Maureen, Ann, Helen, Veronica and Connie, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Death Of Una Corcoran, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 18th March 2024, of Ms Una (Winifred) Corcoran, Ardragh, Kilmanagh, Co. Kilkenny and formerly Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Ms Corcoran passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at JULA House, Disability centre, Newtown, Kells, Co Kilkenny, and St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny city, Co. Kilkenny.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving parents Michael and Noreen, her brother Seamus, her sisters Catherine, Geraldine and Mary, brothers-in-law Thomas, Jason and James, nieces and nephews Eamonn, Shane, Leanne, Emily, Evan, Kieran,and Ryan, her extended relatives, neighbours and friends; especially her friends and family at JULA House.

Requiem Mass for Ms Corcoran will be celebrated on Wednesday morning, March 20th, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining Church graveyard.
