It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 14th January 2026, of Mr Seamus (Tiny) Butler, Mill Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Nora and Jimmy; Mr Butler passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving and devoted wife Catherine (née Burke), sons James and Frankie, daughter Grace, sisters Eileen and Geraldine, brother John, father-in-law Frank, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncle Tony, aunt Ann, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of of Mr Butler will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CP59), on Sunday afternoon, January 18th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the nearby Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, (Eircode E41 A528), on Monday morning, January 19th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Lognafulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Tuesday 13th January 2026, of Mr Joey O’Dwyer Dee, Ballycurrane, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his loving grandparents Sean and Nancy O’Dwyer (Leigh, Two Mile Borris), the passing of Mr O’Dwyer Dee, is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving parents Sinéad and Derek, cherished sons Kodie (mother Leah) and Levi (mother Emma), brothers and sisters Ayla, Dylan, Mellisa and Damon, aunts and uncles, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Wednesday 14th January 2026, of Mr Michael Moore (Former Principle of Ard Scoil Chiaráin, Clara, Co. Offaly), of Knockowen Road, Tullamore, Co. Offaly and late of Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his brothers Tom, Jack and Ger and his sister Mary; the passing of Mr Moore will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Mary, sons Michael, David, Raymond, and Stephen, daughter Pauline, daughters-in law Jackie, Pollee, Chelsea and Megan, grandchildren Shelby, Rhian, Kellen, Ciara, Niamh, Ben and Juliette, great grandchildren Emerson and Rowena, his brothers Pat, Marty and Cornelious, sisters Breda and Nora, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday 29th November 2025, of Mr William (Bill) Fitzgerald, London, United Kingdom; Urlingford, Co Kilkenny and formerly of Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Fitzgerald, sadly, passed away suddenly.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Ann (née Beehan) Urlingford, son Philip, daughter-in-law Rhea, cherished grandchildren Eloise and Rose, nieces, nephews, the extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends both in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Tuesday 13th January 2026, of Mrs Margaret Shanahan (née Stokes), Childers Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Graiguemane, Coalbrook, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband John, parents Edmund and Mary, sisters Jo, Mary, and Frances, great-grandson Noah; Mrs Shanahan passed away peacefully following a long illness most bravely borne.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving son Derek, daughter Rhona (Flanagan), grandchildren Nicole, John, Erin, Kayla and Saoirse, great-grandson Finn, daughter-in-law Anna, son-in-law Tom, sisters Esther and Noreen (Tobin), brothers Tom, John and Pat, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass for Mrs Shanahan will be offered on Friday morning, January 16th, at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in St Peter’s Cemetery, Moycarkey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
