It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death today, Friday 3rd January 2025, of Mr Francis (Franz) Molloy, Ballinea, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Holycross, and Liberty Square, Thurles, Co Tipperary.
Mr Molloy passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at the Midland Regional Hospital, Longford Road, Mullingar and previously at Newbrook Nursing Home, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
A man who brought great joy to the lives of all those whose path he crossed, and pre-deceased by his sister Mary; his passing today is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Katrina, son Peter, daughter-in-law Charlotte, daughters Clara and Rosanne, grandchildren Alexander and Ivan, brothers Anthony and Joseph, sister Christelle, sisters-in-law Veronica, Josephine, Pamela and Miriam, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Molloy will repose at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home, College Street, Mullingar, (Eircode N91 K660), on Monday afternoon, January 6th, from 4:30pm until 6:00pm, before being received into to the Cathedral of Christ the King, Bishop’s Gate Street, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, (Eircode N91 EF82), arriving at 6:30pm same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mr Molloy will be celebrated on Tuesday morning, January 7th, at 11:00am, followed by interment in Walshestown Cemetery, Walshestown, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Wednesday 1st January 2025, of Mr Michael Tobin, Main Street, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Ballyphilip, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Kathleen and Michael, brother Tommy, brothers-in-law Nicky, Pat and Sean, sister-in-law Kathleen and recently deceased mother-in-law Kitty (Norton); Mr Tobin, sadly passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his place of ordinary residence, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Anne, daughters Laura and Leanne, son Michael, brothers Jimmy and Paddy, sisters Breda, Margaret, Mary, Nora, Ann, Alice and Catherine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Pre-deceased by her husband Timmy and son-in-law Eamon (Egan); Mrs Hammersley passed away peacefully at her place of ordinary residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her sisters Mary, Kathleen and Anna, brothers Jerry, Swaney, Paddy, Tommy, Paul and Junior; Mrs Cahill, sadly, passed away unexpectedly following a short illness, while in the care of staff at the High Dependency Unit, University Hospital Limerick City, Co Limerick.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; devoted husband Joe, daughters Louise, Annmarie and Christine, sons John and Noel, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Pat, Rody and Liam, daughters-in-law Sinead and Mairead, sister Phyllis, brother Michael, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, great neighbours and many friends.

Mr Meagher passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, while in the care of staff at the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Castlemeadows, Gortataggart, Thurles.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; his devoted wife Eileen (née Ryan), daughters Majella and Rae and son Thomas, brothers John and Phil, sons-in-law Eugene and Nigel, brother-in-law Eamon Ryan, sisters-in-law Mary (Meagher), Elizabeth (Hassett) and Bridie (Anglim), adored grandchildren Martha, Declan, Agnes and Ben, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
