It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Friday 20th June 2025, of Mrs Anne Hautaniemi (née Cleary), formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary and late of Mustasaari, Finland.
Pre-deceased by her parents Margaret and Denis and her younger brother Ailbe; the passing of Mrs Hautaniemi is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughter Karina, son Denis, adored grandchildren, Liam, Kara, Thom, Adam, Edvin, sister Marian, brothers Diarmaid, Seamus, Denis, Thomas, son-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends and colleagues.

Funeral Arrangements.
Rosary will be recited on Friday evening, July 25th, at 5:00pm, in No.3 Hazelwood, Lognafulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, (Eircode E41 R3N1). Requiem Mass for Mrs Hautaniemi will be celebrated in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, (Eircode E41 E084) on Saturday morning, July 26th, at 11:00am, followed by interment of her ashes in St. Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 20th July 2025, of Mr Thomas (Skinner) O’Brien, No. 45 Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his son Gary and parents Jimmy and Nancy, the passing of Mr O’Brien is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Joan, son James, daughter Sandra, adored grandchildren Lee, Tommy and Pippa, brothers Billy, Denis and James, sisters Sally and Moira, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends including former Eircom colleagues.

The earthly remains of Mr O’Brien will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 XY47), on Wednesday afternoon next, July 23rd from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening. The funeral cortège bearing the remains of Mr O’Brien, will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles. (Eircode E41 E084), on Thursday morning, July 24th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by a Service of Cremation, in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare, (Eircode V14 PV30), at 4:00pm.
For those persons who would wish to attend Requiem Mass for Mr O’Brien, but for reasons cannot, same can be viewed streamed live online, HERE.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Wednesday 9th July 2025 of Mrs Alma O’Connell (née Dee), St. Saviour, Jersey, Channel Islands and formerly of Monadreen, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her father Tom; Mrs O’Connell, sadly, passed away following a long illness, while in the care of staff at Royal Marsden Hospital, Chelsea, London; surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Kevin, sons Tom and Liam, daughter Alice, mother Kay, sisters Marianne, Elsa and Katherine, brother Michael, sister-in-law Karen, brothers-in-law Donal, Peter, Kieran, Colm and Pat, mother-in-law Helen, aunts Mary and Marguerite, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours, friends, and her beloved dog ‘Ollie’.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 14th July 2025, of Mr Philip Fahey, Glenbreeeda, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Fahey, sadly, passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, heart and lung transplantation ward of The Mater Hospital, Dublin.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing and heartbroken family; parents Martin and Geraldine, sister Gráinne and her partner Keelan, uncles Richard, Seamus and Billy, aunts Mary, Margaret, Josephine, Sarah, Therese, Marian and Joan, grandaunts, uncles-in-law, aunts-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 10th July 2025, of Mr John Ryan, Tonagha, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Ballyvillane, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his siblings Tony and Geraldine and niece Gerrine; Mr Ryan passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick, Co. Kilkenny.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; his loving daughter Catherine and son Eoin, brothers Edward and Pat, sister-in-law Barbara, brother-in-law Stephen, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
