It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 11th January 2026 of Mrs Bridget (Bridie) Daly (née Meehan), Castleknock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Daly passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family while in the care of staff at Mount Hybla Nursing Home, Castleknock, Co. Dublin.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband James (Jim), daughters Breeda, Geraldine, Patricia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren Ian and Caroline, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Daly will repose at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Church Avenue, Blanchardstown, Dublin, on Thursday afternoon, January 15th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening. Her remains will be received into the nearby Church of St Brigid, Blanchardstown, on Friday morning, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:00am, followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium, Collinstown Cross, Dardistown, Dublin, (Eircode K67 HP26).

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday 10th January 2026, of Mrs Michelle O’Leary (née Sheridan), Lurgoe, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Hore Abbey, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents Kevin and Breda (Sheridan); Mrs O’Leary, sadly, passed away unexpectedly at her place of ordinary residence.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Joe, sons Kevin and Raymie and their partners Lucy and Liz, grandson Devon, sisters Mary and Caroline, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, work colleagues, neighbours and many friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs O’Leary, will repose at Devitt’s Funeral Home, The Green, Cashel, on Thursday afternoon next from 5:00pm until 7:30pm same evening. Her funeral cortège will leave Devitt’s Funeral Home on Friday morning, at 11:15am, before being received into the Church of St John the Baptist, Friar Street, Cashel, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, followed by a service of cremation at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork, at 3:00pm.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 10th January 2026, of Mrs Kathleen O’Connell, (née Carroll), No 24 Liberty Square, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs O’Connell passed away peacefully following a short illness most bravely borne.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Michael, son Neville, daughter-in-law Susanne and adored grandson Finn, sisters Margaret, Helen, Rosie, Phyllis and Bridget, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jim and Mary Finn (Ballinahow), nieces, nephews, neighbours, good friends in Thurles and Tenerife.

Following a service of cremation in Tenerife, the earthly remains of Mrs O’Connell will later repose for Requiem Mass in Thurles, followed by the interment of her ashes, immediately afterwards, in Thurles.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Monday 5th January 2026 of Mr Michael (Mick) Kennedy, Dalkey, Co. Dublin and formerly of Templemore, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Kennedy passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at St Columcille’s Hospital, Loughlinstown, Co. Dublin.
Pre-deceased by his sisters Mary, Kitty and Nancy; his passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Maura (of 65 years), son Johnny, daughters Frances, Trish and Kate, sons-in-law Paul, Ger and Ian, daughter-in-law Pilar, grandchildren Sam, Emily, Julie, Fiona, Sean and Harry, brother Denis, sister Peggy, sister-in-law JoJo, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 6th January 2026, of Mr Henry Cummins, Rathcradogue, Rahealty, Thurles, Co Tipperary.
In his 97th year, Mr Cummins passed away peacefully, while in the presence of his loving family, in the care of staff at the Coronary Care Unit of Cork University Hospital, following a brief illness.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family, many friends and wonderful neighbours and all who will mourn his passing.

Cork.
