It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Monday 13th January 2025, of Mr Patrick (PJ) Dwyer, Hardwicke Street, D1, Co. Dublin and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his brother Johnny and sister Carmel; Mr Dwyer passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; partner Patsy, loving sons Daniel, Anthony, Andrew and Sean, brother Michael, grandchildren Matthew and Tilly, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Dwyer will be received into the Catholic Church of St Joseph, Berkeley Road, Phibsborough, Dublin 7, (D07 TD29) to repose for Requiem Mass on Monday afternoon next, January 20th at 5:45pm, followed by a Cremation Service on Tuesday, January 21st, in Glasnevin Crematorium Chapel, Finglas Road, Glasnevin, Dublin, (D11 XA32) at 12:00 noon.
For those persons who are unable to attend the Cremation service for Mr Dwyer, same can be viewed streamed live online, HERE.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 12th January 2025, of Mrs Beatrice O’Dwyer (née Croke), Church View, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her mother Eileen; Mrs O’Dwyer passed away peacefully at her place of ordinary residence, surrounded by her loving family, following a long illness most bravely borne.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; son Mark, daughter Erin and their father Tommy, sister Siobhan, brothers Philip, Justin, Thomás, Declan, Donal and T.P., grandchildren Amelia, Jaymelee, Croíadh, Alyssa and Summer, Mark’s partner Mary, Erin’s partner Tommy, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs O’Dwyer will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Tuesday afternoon, January 14th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening. Private family Cremation Service will be held on Wednesday January 15th.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death on Friday, 20th December 2024, of Mr Wallace (Wal) Allen Westren, Marlow, Clonoulty, Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his first wife Nicky and second wife Jean Mary and his sister Hazel; Mr Westren passed away peacefully in the care of staff at Acorn Lodge Nursing Home, Cashel, Co Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; stepchildren Jane, Neil and Karen, extended relatives, neighbours and his many, many friends.
Rest in Peace.
Funeral Arrangements.
The remains of Mr Westren will repose at the family home on St Stephens Day in Marlow, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary and all relatives and friends are welcome to pay their respects.
A service of remembrance and thanksgiving for his life will take place at 1:00pm at Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare, (V14 PV30) on Friday afternoon next, December 27th.

“Mr Westren was born in Enfield, Sydney, Australia on 24th November 1929 to parents Walter and Eveleen. He spent 10 years in New Zealand and was previously married to Nicky (who also predeceases him). He met Jean when travelling and married her soon after, living in her home in Bishop Auckland, Co Durham. They made Clonoulty their home nearly 30 years ago and fully integrated themselves into local life, making many friends in the area.”
