Death Of Ritchie Purcell, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 10th December 2025, of Mr Richard (Ritchie) Purcell, Kilbraugh, Coalbrook, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Peter and Maggie, brothers Eddie and Paddy, sisters Lizzy, Peggy, Alice and Eileen; Mr Purcell passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving sons Richard, Patrick and Lee, daughter Michelle, grandchildren, sisters Bridget, Mary, Joan, Ann and Bernie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Purcell will repose at Doyle’s Funeral Home, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny,(Eircode E41 XO38), onFriday afternoon, December 12th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary on Saturday morning, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:30am, followed by a service of cremation at the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork at 2:00pm, (Eircode P43 DD71).

Death Of Gerry Healy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 7th December 2025, of Mr Gerry Healy, No 2 Rivercourt, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Foyle, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Paddy and Mary, his brothers Phil and Patrick and his sisters Cathy, Mary, Anne and Bridget; Mr Healy passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at University Hospital Clonmel, South Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving partner Breda, sister Bernie, brothers Bob, John and Albert, brother-in-law George, sisters-in-law Val and Mary, nieces, nephews, Breda’s children Sean and Cliona, extended relatives, neighbours and friends

The earthly remains of Mr Healy will repose at Dermot Ronan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Ballingarry, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CK88), on tomorrow afternoon Tuesday December 9th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His funeral cortège will leave from his home on Wednesday morning, December 10th, to be received into the Church Of The Assumption, Ballingarry, Thurles to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed, immediately afterwards, by a Service of Cremation in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare, (Eircode V14 PV30), at 3:00pm.

Death Of Jim Lanigan, Formerly Of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Sunday 16th November 2025, of Mr James (Jim) Lanigan, Manchester, UK and formerly of Garrynoe, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Daniel and Kathleen and his sister Eileen Nugent-Dempsey; Mr Lanigan passed away peacefully following a short illness.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving brothers Danny, Martin, Patrick and Oliver, sisters Mary (Lyons) and Margaret (Moore), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Death Of Kate O’Neill, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 20th November 2025, of Mrs Kathleen (Kate) O’Neill (née Morrissey), Donnybrook, Dublin and formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Dan, and her cherished brother Tim; Mrs O’Neill passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at St Vincent’s University Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin 4.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Ann-Marie and Catherine son Donal, daughter-in-law Karen, son-in-law Rory, granddaughter Alex, grandson Daniel, brothers Nicholas and Pat, sisters-in-law Eileen and Ursula, nieces, nephews, superb carers, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 18th November 2025, of Mrs Helen Ryan, Hazelwood, Dublin Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Roscrea, Co. Tipperary and Dublin.

Mrs Ryan, sadly, passed away at her place of ordinary residence.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Seamus, sons Seán and Liam, daughter-in-law Bridget, grandchildren Evan, Rachael and Alisha, brother-in-law Mike and his wife Pat, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
