Mr O’Dwyer, sadly, passed away while in the care of staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross Thurles.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Cahir Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a single vehicle collision on the N24 at Kilmoyler, Cahir, Co. Tipperary, today Saturday, August 9th, 2025. Gardaí and emergency services responded to a collision at 10:40am this morning, however, sadly the driver and sole occupant of the car, a male aged in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
This latest fatality comes following the death of a male on Wednesday night, after being found unresponsive in his vehicle, following yet another single-vehicle collision, on the Dublin Road outside Nenagh, in the north of the county.
Today’s fatality in the south of the county was removed to Tipperary University Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have completed an examination of the scene, and are now appealing for any witnesses/road users who may have been travelling in the area, between the hours 10:00am and 11:00am, and who may have camera or dash-cam footage, to make same available to investigating officers.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Paddy, brother John Joe, sisters Marie and Carmel; Mrs Duggan passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at St Anthony’s Nursing Home, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Aine and Carmel, son Padraig, sister Gertie, sons-in-law Kevin and Richard. daughter-in-law Siobhain, grandchildren Daniel, Alice, Michael, Luke, Niamh, Caoimhe, Ellen, Anna and Padraig, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Requiem Mass will be offered for Mrs Duggan on Tuesday morning, August 12th, at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in the adjoining old graveyard.

A postmortem carried out on Wednesday last, found that Mr Walsh had sustained several visible injuries, which have led Gardaí in Clonmel to upgrade the case to a murder investigation.
Sadly, Mr Walsh was discovered unresponsive by family members at his place of ordinary residence and Gardaí are now examining all of the circumstances surrounding his untimely demise.
Iarnród Éireann have paid tribute to Mr Walsh, describing him as a “well-known and popular colleague” with a deep passion for railway heritage and transport tourism. Rail heritage group ‘Táilte Tours’ have also issued a heartfelt tribute, describing Mr Walsh as a pioneer of unique rail tours and a generous source of knowledge and support.
Predeceased by his father Philip and grandparents the passing of Mr Walsh is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; heartbroken mother Breda Forristal, his brother Paul and Paul’s partner Rachel, uncle Mick Forristal and family, godmother Marian Butler, Mary McCahill (wife of the late Philip Walsh) and Aishling Fogarty, extended relatives, work colleagues at Irish Rail, and his many friends at Bus Eireann, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

The remains of Mr Walsh will repose at Tom Hennessy’s Funeral Home, 45A Johnstown, Waterford (Eircode X91 FW4A), on Monday evening August 11th, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. A Service of Cremation will take place in the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork, on Tuesday August 12th, at 3:00pm For those persons who would wish to attend the Service of Cremation for Mr Walsh, but for reasons cannot, same can be viewed streamed live online, HERE.
