It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 9th April 2026, of Mr Peter Lyons, Mackenstown Meadow, Mayglass, Co. Wexford and formerly of Ballynonty, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his father Jerry; Mr Lyons passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at the palliative care unit of Waterford University Hospital.
His passing is most deeply regretted sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Mary, sons Cormac and Oisín, mother Mab, mother-in-law Lil (Dolan), brothers Michael and Jeremy, sisters Caroline (Savage) and Geraldine (Minogue), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Lyons will repose at his his place of residence, (Eircode Y35 PR62) on Saturday afternoon, April 11th, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of St Fintan, Mayglass, (Eircode Y35 X324) on Sunday afternoon, April 12th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:30pm, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Mayglass cemetery, Courtlands East, Co. Wexford.
