It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday 10th January 2026, of Mrs Una Doheny, The Paddocks, Kilkenny City, Co. Kilkenny and late of Farranrory, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
In her 90th year and pre-deceased by her husband Bill, sister Kathleen, brothers Niall, John and James, and her niece Rita; Mrs Doheny, sadly, passed away suddenly at her place of ordinary residence.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Helen and Pauline, son-in-law Patsy, grandson Conor, granddaughter Eimear, her partner Darragh, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Doheny will repose at Hehir’s Funeral Home, Gardens, Kilkenny, (Eircode R95 FH90), on tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday January 13th, from 5:00pm, until 6:30pm same evening, concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St Joseph, Foulkstown, Co. Kilkenny, (Eircode R95 A891), to further repose for Requiem Mass on Wednesday, January 14th at 12:00 noon, followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.
