It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 8th January 2026, of Mrs Shelia (Julia) Ryan (C) (née Ryan), St John’s Villa, Clonoulty, Cashel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Turraheen, Rossmore, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Thady (Timothy), parents Josie and Patrick, infant son Peter, daughter Josie, sister Peggy, brother Jimmy and grandchild Sinead; Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at Slievenamon unit, Tipperary University Hospital Clonmel, South Tipperary and Woodlands Nursing, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Mary and Julie, sons Mick, Pat, Eoin (Eugene) and Conor, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother Timothy, sisters-in-law Mary and Josephine, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at Hayes Funeral Chapel, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary, on Saturday evening, January 10th, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, before being received into the Church of Jesus Christ our Saviour, Rossmore.
Requiem Mass for Mrs Ryan will be offered on Sunday morning at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
