It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 12th November 2025, of Ms Margaret (Peggy) Power, Monadreen, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Annie, brother-in-law Paddy (Shanahan) and sister-in-law Nuala (Power); Ms Power passed away peacefully at her place of ordinary residence, surrounded by her family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving brother Tony, sisters Betty (Shanahan) and Áine (O’Dwyer), brother-in-law Foncie, nephews Paul, David, Michael, Declan, Ger and his wife Clare, nieces Danielle, Tracy and Carrie, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, extended relatives, good neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Ms Power will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CP59) on Sunday afternoon, November 16th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 8:00pm same evening.
Requiem Mass will be offered for Ms Power on Monday morning, November 17th at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Lognafulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
