It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Tuesday 28th October 2025, of Mr Eamon Glasheen, Slievenamon Lounge, Cabra Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Eamon Glasheen passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital.
Pre-deceased by his parents Jack and Lily, nephew Jack (Griffin), brother-in-law Dr. Jack (Griffin); his passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving brother Francis, sisters Mairéad (Mehigan) and Mary (Griffin), nephews, nieces, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Denis, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Glasheen will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CP59) on Thursday afternoon, October 30th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the former Cistercian Monastery Abbey Church at Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. on Friday morning, October 31st, at 11:00am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.
