It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, today Saturday 7th June 2025, of Mrs Margaret (Rita) Fanning (née O’Connor), Ballydavid, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents Mary and Jack, her brothers Michael and William, her nephew Eamon, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law the passing of Mrs Fanning is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Tod, sons Murt, John, Tom and Paddy, daughters Mary, Margaret, Bernie and Breda, 24 adored grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, sons-in-law John, Donal, Michael and Jimmy, daughters-in-law Martina, Reidin, Alicia and Christine, brother John, sisters Josie and Moira, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Fanning will repose at her place of ordinary residence, (Eircode E41 H528), on Monday afternoon, June 9th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her funeral cortège will be received into the Church of Our Lady and St Kevin, Littleton, Thurles, on Tuesday morning, June 10th, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Ballymoreen Cemetery, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
