It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Tuesday 6th October 2026, of Mrs Eileen Mooney (née Hodgins) Templederry, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Ambrose, son David, brother Adam and sisters Frances, Prudence and Phoebe; Mrs Mooney passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Ashlawn Nursing Home Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Lorna, Lila (Thurles) and Hazel, son Melvyn, grandchildren Llewellyn, Sarah, David, Ana, Eve, Luke, Cheryl, Dwayne, Ian, Roy, Mark and Rebecca, sons-in-law Robert, Raymond (Thurles) and John, daughter-in-law Jean, nieces and nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Mooney will repose at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Unit 4b, Knockanpierce, Nenagh, (Eircode E45 KN93), on Thursday afternoon next, October 8th, from 5:00pm with removal at 7:00pm, to be received into Templederry Church of Ireland, Templederry, Nenagh, (Eircode E45 X272) at 8:00pm.
A funeral service will take place on Friday afternoon, October 9th, at 3:00pm, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.
