It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday Thursday 1st October 2026 of Mrs Alice Ryan (née Cleary), No.4 Harkins Park, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Ballintogher, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her infant son Patrick, parents Michael and Margaret, sisters Mary, Peg and Nellie, brother Michael (Moke); Mrs Ryan, sadly, passed away while in the care of staff at the Slievenamon Unit, South Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, South Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughter Margaret, sons Michael, Patrick and Martin, their dad Patsy, daughters-in-law Trish, Teresa and Mairead, grandchildren Liam, Michael, Sadhbh, Declan and Eimear, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 XY 47), on Saturday afternoon, October 3rd, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St James, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, at 8:00pm, same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mrs Ryan will be offered on Sunday morning, October 4th at 10:30am, followed by interment in the former Cistercian Monastery Abbey graveyard at Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, (Eircode E41 PH01).
