It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 25th September 2026, of Mrs Ellen Rochford (née Hayes), Pike Street, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Dungooly, Carrigeen, Co. Waterford and Glenview, Ballingarry (NR), North Co.Tipperary.
In her 98th year and pre-deceased by her beloved husband Thomas and sisters Elizabeth and Annie; Mrs Rochford passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, South Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughter Peggy, sons James and Peter, son-in -law Michael, daughter-in-law Kay, grandchildren Thomas, Kane, Ryan, Katie, Frank and Luke, their partners, sister Adelaide (England), great grandson George, stepson John and family, extended relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends.
Rest in Peace.
Funeral Arrangements.
The remains of Mrs Rochford will repose at her place of ordinary residence (Eircode E41 TX83) on Sunday afternoon next, September 27th, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, same evening.
A Service of Cremation will take place on Monday morning, September 28th, at 11:00am, in The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
