It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 25th September 2026, of Mrs Eithne (Elizabeth) Moloney (née McCormack), formerly of Kickham Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Rockspring Gardens, Co. Limerick.
Pre-deceased by her husband Noel and companion Paddy, beloved parents Willie and Bridie, brothers Séan and baby Seamus, lifelong friend Nonie; Mrs Moloney passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving and broken hearted daughters Niamh, Anne Marie and Eimer, son Séamus (Tokyo, Japan), grandchildren Ciara, Cormac, Evie, Iris, David, Oscar and Emmet, sons-in-law Martin (Mahon), Martin (Dredge) and Bernard (Walsh), daughter-in-law Natsuko Saka, extended relatives, neighbours of over 60 years in Rockspring Gardens, loyal friends (especially Christine, Rita, Kitty and Marian, the O’Connor, Hackett and Dunne families) and former colleagues at Limerick Maternity Hospital.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Moloney will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CP59), on Monday afternoon next, September 28th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the nearby Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, (Eircode E41 A528), on Tuesday morning, September 29th, at 10:30am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Lognafulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
