It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 21st September 2026, of Mr Anthony (Tony) Larkin, Ballyboy, Upperchurch, Thurles. Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Richard and Winifred and his brother Dick (Richard); Mr Larkin passed away peacefully while in the care of staff in Unit B at the Community Hospital Assumption, Thurles.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving cousins Paddy Purcell, Pakie Purcell, Sheila (Barry), Maudie (Ryan), Ann and Pat (Stynes) and the extended Purcell family, extended relatives, neighbours, staff at the Community Hospital of the Assumption and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Larkin will reposing at O’Dwyer’s Funeral Home, Cappanaleigh, Upperchurch, Thurles, (Eircode E41 FN34), on tomorrow evening, Tuesday September 22nd, from 6:00pm before being received into the nearby Church of the Sacred Heart, Upperchurch, Thurles, at 7:00pm.
Requiem Mass for Mr Larkin will be offered on Wednesday morning at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby Upperchurch cemetery, Cappanaleigh, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
