It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 18th September 2026, of Mrs Peggy Kennedy (née Kavanagh), Garrynamona, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Har, daughter Maria, parents Maggie and Michael, sisters Mary, Phyllis and Ann, brothers Tom, Ned and Michael; Mrs Kennedy passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving sons Har and Adrian, daughter Pearl, grandchildren Edward, Paul, Ger, Maggie, Sarah, Paudie, Harry and Josh, 5 great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Ann and Siobhan, son-in-law Shane, brother Paddy, nephews, nieces, bothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Kennedy will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CP59), on Monday afternoon next, September 21st, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, same evening.
Her funeral cortège will be received into the Church of St. Cataldus, Ballycahill, Thurles, (Eircode E41 A978), on Tuesday morning, September 22nd, at 11:00am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Two-Mile-Borris Cemetery, Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
