It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 13th September 2026, of Mr PJ (Patrick Joseph) McGuire, Liskeveen, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents William and Josephine and sister Marian; Mr McGuire passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, following a long illness most bravely borne and while in the care of staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; heartbroken wife Josephine, daughter Lyana, son Darragh, daughter-in-law Catriona and his eight grandchildren, Shay, Harry, Lara, Matthew, Alexa, Lucy, Tom and Dean, sisters Catherine and Teresa (Walsh), brothers Liam, Denis and John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr McGuire will be received into the former Cistercian Monastery Abbey, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, (Eircode E41 PH01), at 11:00am on Thursday morning, September 17th, to repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by a private service of cremation.
