Death Of Sheila Minogue, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 5th September 2026, of Mrs Sheila Minogue (née Norton), Barna, Woodsgift, Co. Kilkenny and formerly Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her daughter Angela, brothers Willie, Michael and John and sister Mary; Mrs Minogue passed away peacefully at her place of ordinary residence, while in the presence of her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband John, sons Paul, Niall and Seán, daughters Sandra and Sinéad, sister Margaret, sister-in-law Eileen, daughters-in-law Caroline and Sacha, sons-in-law Des and Alan, grandchildren Cara, Sarah, Ella, Cian, Conor, Aobha, Colm, Daire, Mark, Laura, Bronagh and Eliza, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, kind neighbours and a wide circle of friends, (especially her dear friend Mary Tobin).

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Minogue will repose at her place of residence on tomorrow afternoon, Monday, September 7th, from 3:00pm until 8:00pm same evening.
Her funeral cortège will be received into the Church of St Patrick, Graine, Woodsgift, Co. Kilkenny, (Eircode E41 WR44) on Tuesday morning, September 8th to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Clomantagh Cemetery, Clomantagh Lower, Co. Kilkenny, (Eircode E41 PY76).

For those persons who would wish to attend Requiem Mass for Mrs Minogue, but for reasons cannot, same can be viewed streamed live online, (Link to follow).
