It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 16th August 2026 of Mr John Fitzgerald, Tubber, Cloneen, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Christine (née Culleton) and brother Noel (Thatch) and Richard (in infancy); Mr Fitzgerald passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff of Tir na nOg Ward, Our Ladies Hospital, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; daughters Jane, Christine and Mary, sons John Paul and Conor, sisters Marian, Eileen, Catherine, Teasie, Joanie and Rosie, brothers Gerard, Pat, Andy, son-in-law Alan, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Fitzgerald will repose at the Church of the Visitation, Cloneen, on Monday afternoon, August 17th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mr Fitzgerald will be offered on Tuesday morning, August 18th, at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
