It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 28th July 2026, of Mrs Eileen Devane (née Fox), Clune, Rossmore, Clonoulty, Cashel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Kilgarriff, Ballylanders, Co. Limerick.
Pre-deceased by her infant daughter Jeannette and brother Pat; Mrs Devane passed away peacefully at her place of ordinary residence, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at South East Palliative Care unit.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Tom, daughters Edel and Marie-Therese, sons-in-law Michael Walsh and Peter Moynihan, adored grandchildren Thomas-John and Ethan (Walsh), Tadhg and Malachy (Moynihan), sisters Monica (Fox) and Catherine (Fox), sister-in-law Mairead, brother-in-law Jim, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
She will be remembered for her kindness, strength and the love she gave so generously.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Devane will repose at Hayes Funeral Chapel, Clonoulty, Co. Tipperary, on Wednesday afternoon, July 29th from 5:30pm until 7:30pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Church of Jesus Christ Our Saviour, Drum, Rossmore, Cashel, on Thursday morning, July 30th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard,.
