It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 9th July 2026, of The death has occurred of Mrs Alice Morrissey (née Landers), Ballyvadlea, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Kilbrien, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.
Pre-deceased by her beloved parents, Kitty and Patrick, and sister Eileen; Mrs Morrissey passed away peacefully at her place of ordinary residence, surrounded by her loving family, following a long illness borne with remarkable courage, dignity and strength.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving and heartbroken husband Peter; daughter Jenny, sons, Aidan, Danny and Bobby, cherished grandchildren, Finn, Peter, Kate, Elin, Odhrán and Caelan, sisters, Maudy, Kathleen, Josie, Bridget and Abbey, brothers, Ned and Johnny, son-in-law Jamie, her daughters-in-law, Michelle, Ann Marie and Jessica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Morrissey will repose at St Michael’s Church Mortuary, Mullinahone, Thurles, on Saturday afternoon, 11th July, from 3:00pm until 5:30pm, before being received into the Church of St Michael for 6.00pm evening Mass, following which further reposing will continue, thus allowing for her family to receive further expressions of sympathy.
Requiem Mass will be offered for Mrs Morrissey on Sunday morning, July 12th, at 11:00am in St. Michael’s Church, Mullinahone, Thurles, followed by a private service of cremation, at the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork, on Monday, July 13th.
