It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 7th April 2026, of Mr Edmond (Ned) O’Brien, Poulacapple, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Ned and Annie; Mr O’Brien passed away peacefully, following a short illness most bravely borne, while surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving brothers Denis (Dee) and Thomas (Tom), nephew Eamon, nieces Ann and Marie, extended relatives, kind neighbours and his many good friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr O’Brien will repose at Brett’s Funeral Home, Kickham Street, Mullinahone, Thurles, (Eircode E41 EV78) on Wednesday afternoon, April 8th, from 5:30pm until 8:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the nearby Church of St Michael, Mullinahone, Thurles, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Thursday morning, April 9th, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Michael’s Cemetery, Killaghy, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
