Death Of John Power, Templederry, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday March 21st 2026, of Mr John Power, Latteragh, Templederry, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Peggy and brothers Fr. Jim Power and Michael (Waterford); Mr Power passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, while in the care of staff at University Hospital (UHL), Limerick city.

His passing is most deeply regretted sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; sons Eamon, Shay, Sean, Aidan, Kevin and Vincent. Daughters-in-law, Marie, Berni, Clare, Anne, Eithne and Susan. Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Billi (O’Donnell, Taghmon, Co. Wexford), sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Power will repose at Ryan’s Funeral home, Nenagh, (Eircode E45 KN93) tomorrow afternoon, Monday, March 23rd, from 5:00pm until 7:30pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Templederry, Tipperary on Tuesday morning, March 24th, for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Templederry new cemetery, Cloghinch, Templederry, Co. Tipperary.
