It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 19th March 2026, of Mr Thomas Gleeson, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Colette, siblings Ellen, Michael, Kathleen, Mary and William; Mr Gleeson passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at St Francis Hospice, Station Road, Raheny, Co. Dublin, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; children, Denise, Shane, Tomás, Nives and Matthew, daughter-in-law Tina, sons-in-law Ambrose and Joe, nine grandchildren Karl, Gordon, Cormac, Alexander, Gabrielle, Douglas, Evan, Rebecca, Aoise and four great grandchildren, Ezra, Arlo, Eli and Leon, sister-in-Iaws Pauline and Bernadette, brother-in-law John, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Gleeson will repose in Dermot Ronan’s Funeral Home, Ballingarry (SR), Thurles, (Eircode E41 YD96) on Sunday afternoon, March 22nd 2026, from 4:30pm until 6:30pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry, Thurles, (Eircode E41 X523), on Monday morning, March 23rd, to further repose for Funeral Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.
