It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 11th January 2026, of Mr Joe Sutcliffe, Lisheen Barna, Templetuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of The Glebe, Donaghmore, Co. Laois.
The passing of Mr Sutcliffe is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Betty, daughters Catherine, Carmel and Geraldine, son Martin, Grandchildren, son-in-law Fergus, daughter-in-law Roisin, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Sutcliffe will reposed at his residence, (Eircode E41 X832), this afternoon, January 12th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Church Lane, Longorchard, Templetuohy, Thurles, tomorrow morning, Tuesday January 13th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
