It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Friday 8th January 2026, of Mrs Kathleen Allen (née Carroll), Whitefort, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Tommie and her parents Patrick and May; Mrs Allen, sadly, passed away at her place of ordinary residence.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving sons Sean, Mick and Martin, daughters Marie and Frances, grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Helen, son-in-law Stephen, Terry (Partner of Frances), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Allen will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles (Eircode E41 XY47), on tomorrow afternoon, Sunday January 11th, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the former Cistercian Monastery Abbey, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, (Eircode E41 PH01), on Monday morning, January 12th, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.
