It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 7th January 2026, of Mr William Lane, (late of C.I.E.), Crecora, Co. Limerick and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his sister Bridget; Mr Lane passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at University Hospital, Limerick City, Co. Limerick, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Bridget (nee Hayes), sister Ena, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Lane will be received into the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Crecora, Co. Limerick, (Eircode V94 N6YK), on Friday evening, January 9th, to repose from 6:00pm until 7:00pm.
Requiem Mass for Mr Lane will be offered on Saturday morning, January 10th, at 12:00 noon, followed, immediately afterwards, by interment in the adjoining graveyard.
