It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 3rd October 2025, of Mr James (Jimmy) Ryan, Dromdiha, Drombane, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Turraheen, Rossmore, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Josephine, sister Peg Keane and son-in-law James Lynn; Mr Ryan passed away peacefully following a short illness, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving and devoted wife Mary, daughters Margaret (Lynn), Josephine (Pollard) and Teresa (Gillespie), son John, sons-in-law John Pollard and Gabriel Gillespie, grandchildren Dean, Caoimhe, Maeve, Grace, and Rose, sister Sheila, brother Timothy, sister-in-law Josephine, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Ryan will repose at O’ Dwyer’s Funeral Home, Cappanaleigh, Upperchurch, Thurles, on Saturday afternoon, October 4th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St Mary, Drombane, Thurles, at 8:00pm.
Requiem Mass for Mr Ryan will be offered on Sunday morning at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Kilvalure Cemetery, Drombane, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
