It was with sadness that we learned of the death, today Saturday 30th August 2025, of Mrs Eileen Ryan (née Ryan), Graiguenoe, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Chapel Street, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her son Seamus, grand-daughter Helen, parents James and Margaret, brother Phil, step-brother Mick; Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family while in the care of Staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; devoted husband Patsy, sons Liam and Pakie, daughters Maggie (Kelly), Mary (Flanagan) and Lizzy (Ryan), grandchildren Mary, Linda, Liam, Jessica, Jade, Dorrianne, Jennifer, Isabel, Amy, James, Christopher, Sophie, Ava, Clara, Katie, Sean and Grace, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Nellie, Ann-Marie and Brenda, sons-in-law Dickie and Tom, step-sister Maura, nephews, nieces, sister-in-law Joanie, cousins, the Padre Pio community, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles (Eircode E41 CP59) on Monday afternoon next, September 1st, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into former Cistercian Monastery Abbey, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary on Tuesday morning, September 2nd, at 11:00am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.
