It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 14th August 2025, of Mrs Joan (Johanna) Ryan (née Crowe), Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Coventry, England.
Predeceased by her parents Edmund and Bridget, brothers Dan, John and Connie, sisters Peggy (McGrath) and Doreen (Duke); Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully at her place of ordinary residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Tom, sons Sean and Malcolm, daughter Maria (Hayes), son-in-law Chris, grandchildren Maria, Martin, Thomas and Isobel, brothers Paddy and Tommy, sisters Breda (Bourke) and Moira (Cullivan), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at O’Connell’s Funeral Home, Killenaule, Thurles, (Eircode E41 HH66) on Saturday afternoon, August 16th, from 5:00pm until 7:30pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the nearby Church of St Mary, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles on Sunday morning, August 17th, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Crosscannon Cemetery, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
