Death Of Dr Aidan L. Kennedy, Formerly Thurles, Co Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death on Friday 7th June 2024, of Dr Aidan L. Kennedy, Blackrock, Co Dublin and formerly Glenbane Lower, Holycross, Thurles, Co Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Monica (née O’Gorman), sisters Aileen and Irene; Dr Kennedy passed away following a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; daughters Patricia and Maeve, sons Paul and Kevin, grandchildren Sara, Suf, Iman, Jay and Alto, sisters Isolde and Maeve, daughters-in-law Helen and Lesley, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law Celine, Sr Edna (Medical Missionaries), Anna, Barbara-Anne and Frances, brothers-in-law Andrew, Peter, Martin, Noel and Fintan, cousins, extended relatives, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Dr Kennedy will be received into the former Cistercian Monastery Abbey, at Holycross, Thurles, (E41 PH01) on Wednesday morning next, June 12th, at 11:00am to repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles , Co. Tipperar, (E41 CF72).
