Death Of Michael Byrne, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death on Saturday last, 4th May 2024, of Mr Michael Byrne, (Former Grand National Jockey), Knockgraffon, Cahir, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving parents Michael and Kitty, brothers David, Stephen and Eoin, sisters Amy and Katie, brother-in-law Johnny, sisters-in-law Michelle, Chloe and Rebecca, nephews Tadhg, Andy, M.J. and Harry, nieces Erin, Hannah and Mila, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Byrne will repose at his home (E21 VK02) this afternoon, Wednesday May 8th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the former Cistercian Monastery Abbey, at Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, tomorrow afternoon, Thursday May 9th, at 3:00pm, to further repose for Requiem Mass, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.
