It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Sunday 5th May 2024, of Mr Martin Prout, Garryclough, Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
In his 94th year, and pre-deceased by his beloved wife Nellie, parents Robert and Mary-Ellen, brothers John and Michael and sister Mary-Bridget; Mr Prout passed away peacefully at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; Mary, Robert, Siobhàn, Helen and Brian, daughters-in-law Patricia and Anne-Marie, sons-in-law John (Collins), John (Dunleavy) and John (Sheedy), grandchildren Rory, Neidìn, Jake, Bobby, Karl, Zach, Rachel, Hannah and Ellen, great-grandson Rowan, brother-in-law Tom, sister-in-law Rita, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Prout will repose at his home, [E41 AT22], on tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday, May 7th, from 4:30pm until 7:30pm same evening.
His remains will be received into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Gortnahoe, Thurles on Wednesday morning, May 8th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Boulick Cemetery, Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
