It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Wednesday 20th March 2024, of Mrs Doreen Duke (née Crowe), Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Cootehill, Co. Cavan.
Pre-deceased by her husband Ned, parents Edmund and Bridget, brothers Dan, John and Connie, her sister Peggy (McGrath); Mrs Duke passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, while in the care of staff at Haywood Lodge, Heywood Rd, Cooleens, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her family; Joan (Ryan), brothers Paddy (Crowe), Tommy (Crowe), Breda (Bourke) and Moira (Cullivan), her neices and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Duke will repose at her nephew Peter Cullivan’s home at River Street, Killenaule, Thurles, [E41 HX50] on Friday afternoon, March 22nd from 5:00pm until 8:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St Mary, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Saturday morning, March 23rd at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Crosscannon Cemetery, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
