It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 10th March 2024, of Mrs Kathleen O’Brien (née Fitzgibbon), Jamestown, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs O’Brien passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Waterford.
Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family; husband John, daughter Caitríona, sons Karl, Richard, Steven, Colm, Alan, Jason and Rory, sisters Josephine and Theresa, grandchildren Jamie, Conor, Ludovica, Sam, Alex and Max, nieces and nephew, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs O’Brien will repose at Brett’s Funeral Home, Mullinahone, Thurles on Wednesday afternoon, March 13th, from 5:30pm until 8:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St. Michael, Mullinahone, Thurles, on Thursday morning, March 14th, at 11:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Killaghy, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
