Death Of Mary Gleeson, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 21st January 2024, of Ms Mary Gleeson, Moyaliffe, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Main Street, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

While in her 100th year and pre-deceased by her sister Bridie (Gunn), brothers John and Mattie, niece Brenda (Duffy); Ms Gleeson passed away peacefully, in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary; Ardeen Nursing Home Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Sue Ryder Homes, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family; nieces Dympna (Colton) and Ita (Peters), nephews, Jim (Gunn) and Martin (Gunn), grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, extended relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Ms Gleeson will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles (E41 CP59) on Wednesday afternoon next January 24th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St. Cataldus, Ballycahill, Thurles (E41 A978) at 7.45pm same evening.
Requiem Mass for Ms Gleeson will be celebrated on Thursday morning January 25th at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Moyallife Cemetery, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
