It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death, today Tuesday 5th December 2023, of Sr. Rita Condon, Ursuline Convent, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Mitchelstown, Co Cork.
Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Rita, sister Mary, brothers Pat, John and Fr Michael; Sr. Rita passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and the loving members of her community.
Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sister Terry, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces Michael, Paula, Barry, Eleanor, Alexandra and Tim, extended relatives, her Ursuline Community and Congregation, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Sr. Rita will repose in the New Convent Oratory, Thurles on Wednesday afternoon December 6th, from 4:00pm until 5:30pm. Evening prayers will be recited at 5:30pm.
Her remains will be received into the nearby Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Thursday afternoon, December 7th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 1:30pm, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the Convents own cemetery.
