Death Of John Carey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Tuesday 26th September 2023 of Mr John Carey, Killeens, Ballynonty, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Ballinure, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his wife Statia, his daughter-in-law Caroline and grandson Joseph; Mr Carey passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his daughter Brenda, son John, grandchildren Catherine, Ciara, Colleen, Jack, Megan and great-grandson Lucas, sister Nora Lee, brother Pat, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Carey will repose at O’Connell’s Funeral Home, Killenaule, [E41 HH66], on tomorrow afternoon, Friday, September 29th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St. Mary, Bailey Street, Killenaule, to arrive at 7:30pm same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mr Carey will be celebrated on Saturday morning, September 30th, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in Ballinure Cemetery, Ballinure, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
