It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Friday 1st September 2023, of Mr Sean (John) Hurley, Kestrel Nursing Home, Bushey, England and formerly of Barnane, Templemore, Co. Tipperary.
Aged in his 81st year and pre-deceased by his brothers Tommy and Robert, Mr Hurley passed away, while in the care of staff at Watford General Hospital, Vicarage Road, Watford, United Kingdom.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his daughter Sara and son Jason, their mother Patricia, son-in-law Graham and daughter-in-law Caragh, grandchildren Glenn, Michael, Amy, Cealinn, Shauna and Killian, great-grandchildren Isobel, Molly, Maisie, Jackson, Elsie and James, his brother Michael (Tipperary Town) extended relatives, neighbours, friends in Ireland, England and across the world.
A cremation service will take place on Monday afternoon, September 25th, 2023, at 12:30pm at Bunkers Park Cemetery & Crematorium, Bedmond Road, Hemel Hempstead, [HP3 8LL].
For those persons who are unable to attend the cremation service for Mr Hurley, same can be viewed streamed live online, at a link as yet to be confirmed.
His ashes will be brought back to Ireland, which he always missed so much, as per his wishes on a date to be yet confirmed.
Everyone is welcome to join family at The Green Man, Leverstock Green Road, Leverstock Green, Hemel Hempstead, [HP3 8QE] after the cremation service.
“We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Kestrel Nursing Home, where dad had spent the last number of years for the care and friendship they gave him, and also acknowledge all those who were friends, who over the years had given our dad such fond memories and good times, which he loved to talk about”.
